Ocular Emergencies
All medically necessary visits are covered by Alberta Health Care. These visits include the following
- Red eye, infections
- Sudden eye pain/loss of vision
- Floaters/flashes
- Foreign Body removal
- Ocular allergies
- Pre and post operative care for cataract surgery
- Monitor for glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal disease, and ocular changes due to diabetes/hypertension
